At Domtar, sustainability is guided by clear priorities and disciplined execution. The company’s Q4 2025 Sustainability Strategy update highlights tangible progress as Domtar continues to turn its 2030 Sustainability Strategy into action across operations, partnerships and governance.

During the fourth quarter of 2025, Domtar advanced its Environmental Stewardship pillar by completing its first consolidated greenhouse gas inventory across Scopes 1, 2 and 3. This milestone strengthens visibility across the value chain and enhances the company’s ability to respond to growing customer expectations around carbon disclosure.

The company also established a framework to support the development of an independent, science-based greenhouse gas reduction target by 2026, informed by operational scenarios and credible climate sources. In parallel, Domtar finalized its biodiversity risk assessment methodology and completed a biodiversity engagement pilot at its Johnsonburg mill in collaboration with suppliers and external experts.

Progress across the sustainability strategy extended beyond environmental topics. Investments in communities, employee recognition and partnerships continued to reinforce Domtar’s commitment to people and shared value. These efforts reflect how sustainability priorities are integrated into daily operations and long-term planning.
