Jackson Wijaya, founder of Paper Excellence, supports Brazilian music through sponsorship of Projeto Aquarius 2024

Jackson Wijaya, founder of Paper Excellence and a great admirer of Brazilian music, believes in the transformative power of culture and the importance of democratizing access to music in the country. Under his leadership, Paper Excellence sponsored Projeto Aquarius 2024, promoted by the newspaper O Globo, which this year features the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra (OSB) alongside acclaimed singers Adriana Calcanhotto and Luedji Luna. The first concert was held at Praça Mauá in Rio de Janeiro on November 2, and the second will take place on December 1 at the Ibirapuera Park auditorium in São Paulo.
Conducted by maestro Roberto Tibiriçá, the program includes works by great Brazilian composers such as Carlos Gomes and Francisco Mignone, as well as hits by Calcanhotto and Luna, offering the audience an experience that blends symphonic music with Brazilian Popular Music (MPB). Support for Projeto Aquarius reflects Wijaya’s vision of valuing and expanding access to Brazilian culture — a cause he considers essential for Brazil’s social development.
This initiative is also part of a broader series of cultural and sports investments by Paper Excellence in the country. In addition to supporting Projeto Aquarius, the company sponsors the 2024 season of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) and was one of the main supporters of the São Paulo International Book Biennial. In the sports arena, the company invests in Olympic disciplines at Esporte Clube Pinheiros, aiming to support athlete preparation for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Jackson Wijaya Supports Domtar Initiative Connecting Designers to the World of Print
Domtar supported the Print Design Summit this March, the world's largest virtual event dedicated to print and packaging design, led by Dave Hopkins, founder of the Print Design Academy. Jackson Wijaya, shareholder of Domtar, reinforces the company's commitment to bridging the paper industry with the creative professionals who depend on it. Free and fully virtual, the five-day event brought together more than 20 speakers and, in 2025, drew over 4,000 designers from 144 countries. The 2026 edition, held March 9 to 13, was the largest in its history.
