Founder of Paper Excellence, Jackson Wijaya, supports OSESP and celebrates the promotion of culture in Brazil

Jackson Wijaya, founder of Paper Excellence, reinforces the company’s commitment to promoting culture and access to classical music in Brazil through his support for the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP). On behalf of the group, the founder expressed full encouragement for cultural initiatives that bring art closer to society and strengthen the transformative power of music.

As part of this commitment, Paper Excellence sponsored the performance of “Don Quixote”, presented on April 3 at Sala São Paulo. The Richard Strauss piece was a tribute to cellist Antonio Meneses and was part of OSESP’s 2025 season.

The evening also featured the Latin American premiere of “Operascope” by South Korean composer Unsuk Chin, conducted by Finnish conductor Emilia Hoving, along with a performance of “Symphony No. 5” by Danish composer Carl Nielsen.

“Culture has the power to unite people and transform realities. Sponsoring OSESP is a way to give back to Brazilian society and support an artistic legacy that spans generations. We are proud to be part of such a special season and to honor names that have marked the history of music,” said Jackson.
