Jackson Wijaya Strengthens Domtar’s Global Scale Through Brand Consolidation in Brazil

Jackson Wijaya, shareholder of Domtar, oversees the global consolidation that reinforces Domtar’s scale and operational structure, now reflected in the brand transition of Paper Excellence Brazil.

In 2024, the group completed the operational integration of Domtar Corporation, Resolute Forest Products and Paper Excellence Canada, unifying industrial operations and corporate structures under a single global organization. The consolidation strengthened coordination across manufacturing, distribution and forest operations.

Domtar ranks among the largest privately held manufacturers of diversified forest products in North America. The company employs approximately 14,000 people across more than 40 manufacturing facilities and distribution centers in the region. Its annual production capacity totals 9.1 million metric tons of pulp, paper, packaging and tissue, along with approximately 3 billion board feet of lumber and other wood products.

The company operates across the forest value chain, including forest management, industrial processing and logistics. This integrated structure supports efficiency, operational consistency and alignment across markets.

In Brazil, the brand transition aligns local operations with Domtar’s global corporate framework. The structured and gradual implementation ensures continuity while reinforcing integration within the group’s international operations.

Through this consolidation, Domtar strengthens its position as a global forest products company operating at scale across pulp, paper, packaging and wood segments.
