The Paper Excellence Cultural Arena, the main auditorium of the 27th São Paulo International Book Biennial, welcomed renowned authors Carla Madeira and Eliana Alves Cruz for a discussion titled “The Mother and the Woman in Literature.” The talk addressed maternal and female roles in literary works, reflecting on the representation of these figures in contemporary Brazilian literature.
As the master sponsor of the Biennial, Paper Excellence reaffirms its commitment to culture and education in Brazil. The company, which lends its name to the event’s main auditorium, played a key role in providing a space that hosted major attractions, including national and international authors.
Operating in Brazil for six years and a shareholder in Eldorado Celulose — one of the most advanced short-fiber pulp producers — Paper Excellence has been actively investing in cultural initiatives. In addition to sponsoring the Biennial, the company also supports the 2024 season of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra and the OSESP Children’s and Youth Choirs. Both sponsorships are made possible through the Federal Law for Cultural Incentives.

Jackson Wijaya Supports Domtar Initiative Connecting Designers to the World of Print
Domtar supported the Print Design Summit this March, the world's largest virtual event dedicated to print and packaging design, led by Dave Hopkins, founder of the Print Design Academy. Jackson Wijaya, shareholder of Domtar, reinforces the company's commitment to bridging the paper industry with the creative professionals who depend on it. Free and fully virtual, the five-day event brought together more than 20 speakers and, in 2025, drew over 4,000 designers from 144 countries. The 2026 edition, held March 9 to 13, was the largest in its history.
