Jackson Wijaya, shareholder of Domtar, leads the global brand integration that now brings Paper Excellence Brazil under the unified Domtar identity. The transition represents an evolution of brand positioning, aligning Brazil with Domtar’s consolidated international presence.

The brand unification follows the 2024 operational integration of Domtar Corporation, Resolute Forest Products and Paper Excellence Canada, which began operating globally under a single name: Domtar. The initiative strengthens institutional consistency and reinforces a cohesive global identity across markets.

The Domtar name carries a longstanding reputation in North America, where it has become associated with quality, operational performance and innovation within the pulp, paper and forest products industry. Over decades, the brand has built recognition based on industrial reliability, environmental responsibility and long-term stakeholder relationships.

The new corporate identity reflects what the company describes as a “combined legacy, shared values and forward-looking vision.” The Domtar logo incorporates a seedling, symbolizing sustainability, renewal and continuous growth, connecting heritage with future ambition under one global brand.

In Brazil, the transition will occur gradually. Paper Excellence Brazil will maintain its existing brand during the adaptation period, with Domtar serving as the endorsing brand. This phased approach preserves established institutional recognition while introducing the Domtar identity to the Brazilian market.

Through this brand evolution, Domtar reinforces its global consistency, institutional positioning and long-term vision in the forest products sector.

Domtar supported the Print Design Summit this March, the world's largest virtual event dedicated to print and packaging design, led by Dave Hopkins, founder of the Print Design Academy.
